Dress Code for Students

The 2024-2025 school year is a transition period for our new uniforms. During this year, students may wear either the old or the new uniforms. Also, the  girls in 4th grade may choose to wear either the Middle School (5th-8th grade) or  the Elementary School (K-4) uniform.  Beginning in the 2025-2026 school year, only the new uniforms will be permitted.

Boys /Girls Full Zip Jackets (Grades K-8): Winter (November 1 - March 31)​

May be worn as an alternative to the sweaters and vests!

General Dress Code Guidelines:

  • Hair is to be neat and clean, and groomed conservatively. Fad hairstyles such a mohawks and mullets are not permitted. Extreme styles and alteration to natural hair color are not allowed (streaks, high lights, etc.)

  • Boys’ hair should not touch the collar and must be above the ears and eyebrows. If this policy is challenged,

  • parents/guardians must make the necessary adjustments before returning to school.

  • Devices such as Apple Watches, FitBits, etc. that use cellular data or that can send/receive messages and/or make calls are not permitted.

  • No makeup or nail polish may be worn.

  • Although jewelry is not a part of the school uniform, small conservative style earrings are permitted to be worn by the girls (one earring only in each ear). Boys are not permitted to wear earrings.  A religious medal or cross on a chain is permitted.  Students may wear one bracelet on each wrist. Novelty jewelry and large dangling earrings are not permitted; only small earrings and crosses or crucifixes may be worn.

  • No writing or drawing, etc. on hands, arms, etc. is permitted. Tattoos (permanent or temporary) are not permitted.

  • CYO apparel may be worn back and forth from school; however, it is not part of the school uniform and cannot be worn during the school day.

  • Because of allergy and safety concerns, no hair spray, hair products, creams or lotions may be applied in school.

 

Shoes:

  • Sturdy, flat leather with rubber soles and heels (dark brown, black, or navy only) that will offer the appropriate support for the students. Flocco's Shoes provides a list on their website.

  • Shoe laces must be tied and the appropriate color for the shoes.

  • Sneakers are permitted only on gym days or special dress down days.

  • Students may wear sneakers (No slip-on type of sneakers)
