Early Childhood
PreSchool 3 (5 Day)
Mrs. Niki Gormont is eager to begin another year at Saint Aloysius. She has a Bachelor's degree from Neumann University along with a Masters in Education from University of Phoenix. She has been involved with children of all ages for over a decade.
Mrs. Gormont, and her husband Dan, have four children. Outside of school she loves spending time with family.

Mrs. Rafetto is grateful and blessed to be part of the St. Aloysius Catholic community for the second year. She has taught for over 26 years in grades PreK, Kindergarten, First and Second in PA, IL, and FL. She received a Master Degree in Education from Cabrini University and a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Millersville University.
Mrs. Rafetto has a strong commitment to the academic, social and emotional growth of her students. She is looking forward to another great year encouraging her students to become independent, life-long learners who love coming to school every day.
Mrs. Rafetto loves to be outdoors walking, biking, canoeing, and golfing. She enjoys baking, reading and spending time at the beach with her husband, son and her dog named Daisy.

Pre-K4 - 5 Day
Mrs. Alishia Toub graduated from Kutztown University with a Bachelor degree in Elementary Education. She is certified to teach Pre-k to 6th grade. She has worked in preschool for 5 years. Last year she was an aid in the Pre-K4-5 day and she is very excited to be one of the Pre-K teachers this year.
In her free time, Mrs. Toub enjoys spending time with her family and watching her children play sports. She has a 9 year old son, Alex, and a 7 year old daughter, Piper. When she is not watching her children play sports, she enjoys reading, spending time at the beach, and paddle boarding.

Mrs. Hudak has a Bachelor's degree from Penn State University along with a Masters in Education from Drexel University. She is certified by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in Elementary Education and Special Education. She has worked with children in public school, preschool and a virtual classroom for more than 9 years.
In her free time she loves to travel, read and spend time with her husband and two children.

Kindergarten - A
Mrs. Janell Lamperti holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Kutztown University and studied Early Childhood Education at Eastern University. She is certified to teach grades Pre-K to 4 in the state of Pennsylvania.
This will be Mrs. Lamperti second year teaching kindergarten at St. Aloysius. Mrs. Lamperti has also taught at St. Mary's and Holy Family Catholic schools. Mrs. Lamperti loves teaching kindergarten and witnessing all the growth and fun.
Mrs. Lamperti, and her husband Alex, are members of St. Aloysius Parish. They have 3 children Braden, Nolan and Lexi. When she is not busy with school work, she enjoys reading, gardening, baseball, spending time with her family, and the beach.

Kindergarten - B
Miss Katie Shrum graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and completed Eastern University’s PreK- 4th grade certification program. Miss Shrum also has experience coaching track and field at both middle and high school levels.
She is excited to be one of the Kindergarten teachers this year. Miss Shrum spent the last two years as the Gym and Music teacher and is ready to start a new adventure.
Fun Fact: Miss Shrum attended Saint Aloysius School from kindergarten through eighth grade! In her free time, you can find her on the beach, reading, going for a walk, or spending time with family and friends.

First Grade
Mrs. Susan Kalil graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Millersville University. She is certified by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in Early Childhood/Elementary Education. She is also certified in Wilson Reading Systems and is a trained Project Lead the Way STEM teacher. Mrs. Kalil has received her master catechist certificate and has been teaching at St. Aloysius for over 20 years.

Miss Jennifer Smith is very excited to be joining the Saint Aloysius community. She holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree from Kutztown University in Elementary Education PreK-4. She is a Master Catechist.
For the past nine years, Miss Smith has been teaching in the Diocese of Allentown at various grade levels.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching Phillies games, and going shopping.

Mrs. Danielle Shilling graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education Pre-K thru 4th grade. She has a Masters Degree in Education from Holy Family University and is certified by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in Early Childhood. Mrs. Shilling is in the process of becoming a Master Catechist. She loves teaching Second Grade at St. Aloysius and is excited for another year to begin.

Mrs. Emily Haldeman
Mrs. Emily Haldeman is a graduate of Penn State Berks University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education PreK through 4th grade. She is certified by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is a Google Certified Educator. She also has experience coaching athletes at both the middle and high school levels. Mrs. Haldeman has been teaching Third Grade for three years and has also taught PreSchool 3 and Library/Technology,
Fun Fact: She attended St. Aloysius from Kindergarten thru 8th grade, and her dream was to teach at this school. She accomplished her dream and has been a faculty member since 2014.
In her spare time she loves spending time with her husband, three children, family/friends, and watching Penn State and the Eagles!
Fourth Grade
Jennifer Stewart graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor degree in Elementary/Early Childhood Education. She also received her Masters in Education in Development and Strategies through Wilkes University.
Throughout her 16 years in education, Mrs. Stewart taught kindergarten and was a substitute for grades kindergarten through 8th grade for various school districts. She was also a long-term substitute last year for a 4th grade class in Methacton School District.
In her free time, Mrs. Stewart likes to watch her kids play soccer and baseball. She also loves to read, go to the beach, take their dog Luna to the creek, and spend time with friends and family. Go Phillies!!

Mrs. Amy Willson enjoys being part of the Saint Aloysius Middle School team and sharing her love of reading with the students. She is a graduate of Moravian College and earned her Master's in Curriculum and Instruction from Rosemont College. She is certified K-6.
Mrs. Willson loves to spend time with her husband, their three children, and family and friends. When she is not at school she can usually be found at the soccer fields, watching her kids play! Her favorite place is the beach; she is an avid reader and you will usually find her with a book and a cup of tea!

Ms. Lightcap graduated from West Chester University with a Bachelors degree in Education. She is certified to teach K-6 as well as Middle School Science in grades 7-9. Ms. Lightcap has been in education for almost 20 years, 12 of which were spent at St. Aloysius! She is attending Immaculata University where she will soon graduate with her Masters.
Ms. Lightap refers to herself as an "ice hockey mom". She enjoys watching her son, Jude, play sports and perform in school plays and musicals. She loves to go to the beach, and spending time with her family and two cocker spaniels.

Mrs. Carolyn Coelho earned her Bachelor of Science degree from East Stroudsburg University. In May 2024, she received her teaching certification from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Mrs. Coelho brings five years of experience to St. Aloysius, initially as the Physical Education teacher for two years before serving as a dedicated building substitute for the past two years. She has taught 2nd and 3rd grade at St. Aloysius.
Outside of her commitments at St. Aloysius, Mrs. Coelho is a devoted mother to her four children, Ben, Pat, Bela, and Camila, all of whom also attend St. Aloysius. Their family enjoys activities such as beach outings, theater, gymnastics, cheerleading, basketball, music, and reading.

Mrs. Denise Lorenz
Mrs. Denise Lorenz has a Bachelor’s degree and Masters of Education from Saint Joseph’s University. She is certified by the commonwealth of PA in English and is a master catechist. She has been teaching in Catholic education for over 20 years, over half of which have been at St. Aloysius. Mrs. Lorenz loves teaching middle school and is excited for another year to begin.
Mrs. Donna Hennessey
Grammar (7th & 8th)
Donna Hennessey's journey with St. Aloysius began in 1972 when the school needed a seventh and eighth grade Language Arts teacher. Having recently graduated from Chestnut Hill College as an English major with high school certification, and being enrolled in a Master's program at Kutztown University, she intended to help out until a permanent teacher was found. However, she fell in love with the students, parents, faculty, and the school's mission, making St. Aloysius her "other" home for the next forty-eight years until her retirement during the pandemic. The school community shared in many chapters of her life, from planning the Baptisms of her children to supporting her as she cared for her aging parents. Her many years of memories at St. Aloysius are dear to her heart.
Nevertheless, the "school bug was relentless," and with Mr. Palmieri's invitation to help out, along with the encouragement of her husband Kevin, children Jonathan and Dori, and even their golden retriever Isabel, Donna is happy to be back in school teaching part of the seventh and eighth grade Language Arts program. She is looking forward to the school year and hopes to meet many of the St. Aloysius School families.
Middle School Math (5th-8th)
Mrs. Nasuti graduated from Drexel University and came to Saint Aloysius in 2002. She has held various positions since. She is a big fan of middle school and is looking forward to another great year with her students.
Mrs. Nasuti is married and has 3 adult children that all graduated from St Als. Besides her family she has two other loves; travel and cooking!!

Mrs. Leslie Jenschke joined the Saint Aloysius family in 2020. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Mathematics from Lock Haven State College and a Master's degree from Wilkes University in Curriculum and Instruction. She has over 25 years of teaching experience.

Mrs. Kathleen Lazaunikas
Saint Aloysius Parish School hired Mrs. Lazaunikas nine years ago after the school she had been teaching for 21 years suddenly closed their doors. Mrs. Lazaunikas or “Mrs. Laz” as she is lovingly referred to, is of course the Visual Arts Teacher, but she also is the Director of the Spring Musical.
Mrs. Laz, is a graduate of Kutztown University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Art Education and Aesthetics. She is certified by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in Art Education and Aesthetics. Through her years of teaching, she has been awarded the honor of being one of the Who’s Who Among American’s Teachers, designed the logo for the 2005 National Catholic Education Convention and the prestigious Gold Bell Ringers Award for Design in Philadelphia. Mrs. Laz is also a Master Catechist.
Mrs. Lazaunikas has been married to her husband Tom for 44 years and has two children Andrew and Olivia, a daughter-in-law Mary, one granddaughter Lyla, and a Chihuahua named Tiny Tim!
Music
Ms. Heather Keller
Ms. Heather Keller is excited to be joining Saint Aloysius this year. She has both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Temple University in Music Performance. In addition to teaching, Ms. Keller also enjoys performing in orchestras and small ensembles on viola. When she isn’t teaching or performing, she loves spending time with her sons, Hugo and Dana. She also enjoys running, cooking, baking, playing board games and doing jigsaw puzzles. She can’t wait to meet everyone in the fall!
Physical Ed
Mr. Jake Kraihanzel is a first-year teacher who graduated from Cairn University with a Bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical Education and a Minor in Bible, as well as a Master’s degree in Education. He is eager and excited to join the Saint Aloysius community. As a teacher at Saint Aloysius, he hopes to instill in the students a lifelong passion for being active and an understanding of who they are as human beings.
When he is not teaching, he can most likely be found on the golf course playing with his family or playing drums in the praise band at his church. He loves spending time with his dog in the backyard and watching the Phillies.

Mrs. Janell Hogan
Mrs. Janell Hogan has twenty-eight years of teaching experience. She received her Bachelor’s in Education degree from Pittsburg State University, KS and is certified in grades K-9. She has eleven years of experience with working in Learning Support. This is her fifth year at St. Aloysius. Working with small groups and individuals to help students meet their academic goals brings her a great deal of joy!
In her free time Mrs. Hogan loves to spend time with her family and travel.
Spanish
Mrs. Cynthia Escudero was born and raised in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, where she attended college at the Universidad de Guadalajara, and got her Bachelor of Business Administration focused on International Commerce and Trade. She is a native Spanish speaker and loves to share her language and culture.
In Cynthia's “free time” you will find her at some field hockey or soccer field cheering on her daughters (Cindy, Kyanni & Abby). She also loves spending time with the whole family (husband, daughters & two labs) on other activities such as camping, the beach and just hanging out.

Mrs. Deanna Cunningham joined the St. Aloysius family in 2019. She graduated from Millersville University with a degree in Elementary Education (K-8). She has been teaching in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia for over 25 years. Mrs. Cunningham is both our Technology Teacher and Librarian! She has taught different grade levels, but her love of technology led her to become specialized in technology, which she has taught for over ten years.
In her free time, Mrs. Cunningham loves spending time with her family and creating things.

Reading & Math Specialist
Mrs. Michelle Paglia has been providing Reading and Math support to Saint Aloysius students for over 14 years. She has been working at the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit (MCIU) for 20 years, and prior to that taught at St Teresa of Avila for 5 years. Mrs. Paglia holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education K-6 from Bloomsburg University and received a Master’s in Education from Bloomsburg with a Reading Specialist Certification K-12. Mrs. Paglia recently earned a second Master’s Degree in Education from LaSalle University, with a focus on Teaching Strategies for the 21st Century Learner.
Fun fact, while at St. Teresa of Avila, Mrs. Paglia taught art and reading. In her art class was a promising young student named TJ. Fast forward a gazillion years and now TJ (aka Mr. Palmieri) is the Principal of a school!
In her free time, Mrs. Paglia enjoys reading, hiking with her husband and dog, spending time with her children and three grandchildren, and traveling.

Ms. Erin Przybylinski (Ms. P.) received her undergraduate degree from Penn State University and her Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from Salus University. She enjoys working at the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit (MCIU) and loves working with children!
In her free time, Ms. P. enjoys running, loves to travel, spend time with friends & family, and attending Philly sports games!
